Northwest Community Credit Union is a non-profit cooperative owned by our members.  Every dollar you put into your savings or checking account acts as a share of “stock” in the credit union.  Unlike a bank, our business profits are redistributed back to our members based on your share of the credit union’s total assets.

Federally Insured Up to $250,000, Just Like a Bank
As a state chartered credit union, our members’ accounts are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a federal agency that supervises credit unions across America.  Like the FDIC does for banks, the NCUA insures the money you keep in a credit union up to at least $250,000.
